There are several benefits available to our Sacramento area club members- access to our Koi Health Advisors, monthly meetings where guest speakers discuss topics that will add to your knowledge on Koi husbandry, a wide knowledge bank on how to build a successful pond, opportunities to visit many ponds for ideas and advice, and of course the social aspect of meeting friendly folks with similar interests. Additionally, you will enjoy potlucks, Koi events, discounts from local vendors and much more.
Our members' ponds vary in size from a few hundred gallons to over 20,000 gallons, to small lakes. We can help make your pond more enjoyable.

For a fee of $30, you receive a membership for the current calendar year that is good for your entire household. Here are just a few reasons to join us:
  • Access online club roster, event volunteer info, and more...
  • Members-only discounts on club seminars, pond tour tickets, koi show entrant's fee! Several local koi businesses give discounts to members.
  • Annual Koi Auction. If you need to make room in your pond, bring your koi to our auction. You and the club split the proceeds of your sales 50/50. Koi have sold here for anywhere from $5 to $125.
  • Monthly Meetings - A great way to see a new pond every month plus learn more about the hobby during a lecture. Past topics have included what to look for when buying koi, pond issues such as algae and filtration, koi variety profiles, feeding, and health.
  • Koi Show - Anyone in the general public is welcome to come to our show, but as a member you have the opportunity to increase your koi knowledge by participating "behind the scenes"!
  • Buying trips to local koi and pond supply businesses offers convenient transportation and one-day only discounts!
  • Receive new issues of our monthly Koi Ahoy e-newsletter as soon as it comes out!
  • Compete in our Members-only Contests!
